M stayed home while we went to Church. She slept in till 11:00am.
I spent all afternoon putting together an evening meal of cheese and chocolate fondue.
I used Swiss cheese and gouda cheese. I didn't like the taste. I prefer just cheddar.
I used par steamed broccoli, carrots, zucchini, raw cucumber, fried mushrooms, cob bread and roast potato wedges as dippers.
I used strawberries, rockmelon and vanilla cupcakes for chocoate dippers, rolled in coconut.
Very yummy. That is as close as I will attempt to get to a Lamington. M said she had never had chocolate and coconut together. We added to the mix some icecream.
As it was National Swiss Day, we played the Anthem from Youtube while M tried to sing it in French. The tune is very hard to follow.
After our meal we played violin and guitar singing a couple of songs/rounds.
M taught us one that said something like, "Jesus is my salvation, aleluia....."
She seems to be quite proficient on the violin but we discovered a string is broken, so I need to get it replaced tomorrow. Our other guest did well singing and playing the violin with 2 strings.
We had a quick read of the Book of Mormon and family prayers and everyone departed their own way. M packed Fish Rice for lunch tomorrow. The girls also made a chocolate cake for a Swiss afternoon tea at southbank with other friends.
