The beginning of another week- DAY 11

The girls caught a later train so they could sleep in a little. Not the best day to do that as there was mechanical issues and they were held up at Salisbury station and didn't get to school until 11:00am. I got a phone call wondering whether they should just take the day off and go to the Gold Coast and sight-see. I talked them through their mania, and sense ruled. They spent the afternoon at Southbank having a BBQ with other Swiss students to celebrate National Swiss Day.

I am told that the other Swiss students don't speak English as well as our M, and their hosts don't speak French as well as our J, so there is no conversation in their homes.

We are almost maxed out on our download limit so I have told the girls that the endless hours on FACEBOOK must come to an end. M then tells me that everyone has unlimited internet in Switzerland.

J tells me that the school in Geneva is next to the largest shopping centre in the area. She is rather excited about that. M told J that it cost $20 to go to a movie. No discounts. So people don't go very often.

The violin has its full run of strings so I heard M play tonight. She is pretty good.
